CiviCRM Blank Screen and Error on Dashboard

Question

I am trying to install CiviCRM on wordpress hosted by our own server. The install would seem to have installed. However, we get a blank screen on the dashboard after install. I have reinstalled it a few times but get the same thing, a blank screen. I enabled debugging and this is the error I get:

I think I had this issue when my templates_c folder didn't have the correct permissions on my server.

On my bitnami server, I had to do this (source):

sudo chown -R bitnami:daemon TARGET
sudo find TARGET -type d -exec chmod 775 {} \;
sudo find TARGET -type f -exec chmod 664 {} \;
sudo chmod 640 TARGET/wp-config.php
