I am running CiviCRM 5.25.0, PHP 7.2

When a mailing job is scheduled, it shows running as per "Scheduled Job" but no email is sent, until I run "Process Scheduled Mailing" manually.

Cron on cpanel

usr/local/bin/ea-php72 /public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/bin/cli.php -u cron_soap -p password -e Job -a execute

No error in the scheduled job log.

Mailing have been working with this setting for ages until recent upgrade. Anyone got an idea why it would not work? Thanks

  • Specifically, why it has stopped now - I don't know. But a) recommended php version is now 7.3, b) I'd use cv rather than cli.php for cron. c) cron output is usually emailed - what does that say? d) what do you get if you run that cron command from a terminal session? – Aidan Jun 1 at 10:46
