I have a set of records where participants have registered for some events, with additional booking info, using different email addresses so have created duplicate records. When merging these I receive a database error:

''' [code] => -5 [message] => DB Error: already exists [mode] => 16 [debug_info] => UPDATE civicrm_value_booking_information_10 SET entity_id = 6349 WHERE entity_id = 6640 [nativecode=1062 ** Duplicate entry '6349' for key 'unique_entity_id'] [type] => DB_Error [user_info] => UPDATE civicrm_value_booking_information_10 SET entity_id = 6349 WHERE entity_id = 6640 [nativecode=1062 ** Duplicate entry '6349' for key 'unique_entity_id'] [to_string] => [db_error: message="DB Error: already exists" code=-5 mode=callback callback=CRM_Core_Error::handle prefix="" info="UPDATE civicrm_value_booking_information_10 SET entity_id = 6349 WHERE entity_id = 6640 [nativecode=1062 ** Duplicate entry '6349' for key 'unique_entity_id']"] '''

In the database there is already a custom value record for each of the contacts so this update is never going to work - I have tried flipping the records and setting the extra booking info on each to empty values or the same values - always the same error...

Looks like a bug to me. Any ideas?
