Yes. You can do this by enabling the CiviMenu drupal module: CiviMenu allows you to display the CiviCRM menubar on non-civicrm pages of your website. This module provides an invisible Drupal Block which loads the CiviCRM menubar. By default the block will display the menubar on every non-civicrm page of your website. Simply edit the block to refine ...

I've posted an advisory now: CIVI-SA-2015-008: Access bypass in CiviCRM 4.6.7 CiviCRM 4.6.7 introduced an access bypass issue which applied a limited number of sites. The issue affected only certain configurations, where the site used ACLs to limit access, and applied to users whose permissions included “access CiviCRM” and “view my contact” but not “...

There is a security notification civicrm group that you can subscribe to on civicrm.org https://civicrm.org/advisory/subscribe Security updates and notifications have not been tied as yet. Definitely this would be a good addition to the project

Inside the CiviCRM root directory is a "sql" folder, and inside that is "civicrm_navigation.mysql". Copy it to "civicrm_navigation_restore.sql" and edit the copy to remove all of the SQL commands EXCEPT this one: SELECT @domainID := id FROM civicrm_domain where name = 'Default Domain Name'; and any that start with INSERT INTO civicrm_navigation. Change ...

If you just want the site name as the title, you can filter it: // add filter only when basepage has been parsed add_action( 'civicrm_basepage_parsed', 'my_override_civi_title' ); function my_override_civi_title() { // for themes that use wp_title() add_filter( 'wp_title', 'my_page_title', 200, 1 ); // for themes that use add_theme_support( 'title-...

This is a bug in CiviEvent Widget - though an understandable one. The widget uses CRM_Utils_System::url() to construct URLs to the CiviEvents but -- when the widget is viewed on a page/post where there is a CiviCRM shortcode present -- the url() method returns public-facing URLs using the permalink of the page/post instead of the WordPress "basepage". FWIW,...

On some of our (older but since upgraded) instances the Manage Extensions still shows under Admin > Customise, rather than Admin > System Settings - just in case your is there, but just not where you expect it ;-)

Note that in 4.6 the in-app notifications have already been improved to display security updates as different from normal updates, and seperate display preferences for both.

Note that a lot of work has happened on CRM-13823 that would facilitate this, primarily a rewrite of the System.check API. That work will land in 4.7 - it's not merged in core, but can be found here. If you want the functionality you're describing now, and you run Nagios/Icinga, consider installing CiviMonitor.

What version are you on now? That patch is in 5.12.0 so your easiest option may be to upgrade to that version.

The issue was due to the fact i was using FPM applicated server by nginx instead of FPM applicated server by Apache. I am not sure how to find a work around using NGINX but it is working now, thank you to everyone whos tried to help! Thanks

SOLVED. The update to 6.4.4 seemes to have deleted some values in the 'civicrm_option_value' table. These options reffered to the option group with the name 'contact_edit_options' in the table 'civicrm_option_group'. The options for 'First Name', 'Last Name' etc. were no longer present and if these aren't present those fields just dissapear from the contact ...

Word replacement for County works on the demo - I renamed it to County/rename. http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org/administrator/?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contact/add&reset=1&ct=Individual State/Province is a default field, I'm not sure why you're not using that, instead of renaming. Look at your address settings, link on demo: http://joomla....

This is a very small bug, but to fix easily, here's my above comment again. This problem is also true for Drupal on a couple of 4.6.9 test systems of mine. I fixed by using the navigation menu update in administer/customise data and screens. I deleted the second Support item and all was well.

Terrific! I found a work-around, and here it is! Using Firefox web browser, with the "Web Developer" tool bar extension, select Disable \ Disable JavaScript \ Disable All JavaScipt. Then reload the above specified URL. That will load the page WITHOUT the AJAX / JavaScript multi-select controls... and leave the basic HTML list controls. I was able to quickly ...

With CiviCRM on Joomla you do need to use the administrator backend for that functionality (unlike on Drupal). The frontend functionality is limited as you've discovered. You can create a Joomla user group for these CiviCRM users and assign them the ability to login to the Joomla backend, but grant access only to the CiviCRM component. The steps would be ...

The root cause of this error is wrong civicrm base url. (Most of the time it's happen due to www in base url. If your url does not contain www the don't use it in civicrm base url.)

2

I suggest that you check that the Base URL in the CiviCRM settings file. Look for CIVICRM_UF_BASEURL in civicrm.settings.php file. See this similar question for more details: **Network Error - Unable to reach the server

This turned out to be an unexpected odyssey. This error was misleading, and actually indicated that some of the page elements were being returned with 0 bytes. Those elements were civicrm php urls, and most of the errors we noticed where from a 4.7 installation. There were unhelpful messages in the php error log until I turned on 'catch_workers_output=yes' ...

One issue is that in Drupal, there isn't really a division between front-end and back-end. The whole idea of an administration theme in Drupal is relatively new, and the default prior to Drupal 7 was that settings forms would look no different than content pages. Meanwhile, WordPress (and, to an even larger degree, Joomla!) has a clear delineation between ...

I wouldn't hire an IT person who thinks it's ok to do development on a live site. You always do development and testing on a COPY of the site. See also https://codex.wordpress.org/Running_a_Development_Copy_of_WordPress One of many reasons is that the dev copy can have fake or anonymized data in it - I assume your concern is the devs seeing the real data.

Looking at your issue: See CRM-15394 David Greenberg added a comment - 30/Sep/14 12:03 PM The back-office 'Submit Credit Contribution' feature is only available when the site has at least one configured payment processor of the type that allows credit card data to be entered within CiviCRM forms. This includes Paypal Pro, Auth.net and iATS. The link is ...

Sounds like a permissions problem. Make sure you are logged in as a user who has full "administer CiviCRM" permissions in Wordpress.

2

Certain activity types are reserved by the system for certain purposes. You cannot directly create an "Inbound Email" activity, for example, because those are created by the email processor in CiviCRM. You can add new activity types by going to Administer -> Customize Data & Screens -> Activity Types in the menu.

I just fixed this issue on a site I was working on. Hopefully it helps you as well. My issue was directory permissions. You need to make sure that all of your directories have permissions set to 755. My contribute folder was set to 750, which did not allow the directory structure to be loaded beyond that point. Because of that, it's not able to load the ...

Rather than using "Notes", consider creating an activity instead - and instead of using Profiles, use Caldera Forms with CiviCRM integration to create the Activity. There are several advantages, including those I mention here, but also that you won't get the wrong "note", or pollute your notes data with information that's not really a note.

2

Okay, first remind me to never exclude my iATS extension from being part of the problem ... Karin tracked this down to the point in the (core) code where the list of available payment processors are reloaded a second time. It occurred to me that the iATS extension interferes with this form for two reasons: in order to remove the iATS ACH/EFT processor if ...

When I try an event page the two ways (one from the events listing under Get Involved, one from going thru the donate page's sidebar), the URLs for the same pages are different. One has: http://test.californianational.party/civicrm/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/event/info&reset=1&id=161 The other has: http://test.californianational.party/donate2/?...

If you have logging switched on you should be able to find this in the log tables. If you do not have logging switched on I do not think you can find this. You can check your logging at Adminster>System Setting>Misc (Undelete..........

To fix missing menu items you can select Admininister -> Customize Data and Screens -> Navigation Menu (or if that menu item is missing(!) go to a civi page and change the url in your browser to end with civicrm/admin/menu?reset=1). You can then add the missing items if you know their url and title.
