You can do it in two steps: Search for all contacts, and put these in a tag (or group). Do a second search, for all contacts WITH a donation. And then remove these from you tag (or group) using action Untag Contact (or Remove contact from group).

Install Jamie McClelland's Summary Fields extension - see here - and insert Total Contributions this Year as a token.

This is doable using the API, and I've accomplished it using Pentaho Kettle. It has a CiviCRM Input and CiviCRM Output step, which use the REST API. You're right to be concerned about the SQL-based approach, since there's been discussion of deprecating that table in favor of a line item-based approach to connecting contributions and memberships. If you ...

Adding the Summary Fields extension is the way to go. Use Advanced Search to find contacts with zero lifetime donations to create a smart group or list of people who have never given. Subsequent donations from those contacts will automatically remove them from the smart group. If you are interested in finding people who have given at some point, but not ...

Big thanks for supporting GiftAid extension! The Civi4.6 branch has been actively worked on in the past few months. A few improvements and new features have been added into the extension. Although the new version is still under testings, we decide to establish an alpha3 release from the latest changes so we can share the results with the community and we ...

You're looking for some advanced reporting: install this extension: fuzion extended reports -> and then look for report template: Extended Report - Price Set Line Items.

You can retrieve contribution notes via the api using: civicrm_api3('Note', 'get', array( 'entity_table' => 'civicrm_contribution', 'entity_id' => $contributionID, )); Or see the api explorer to generate this in other formats (you can also do it from within a smarty template, for example). Important: The api returns raw, unsanitized user input. ...

Via Contributions > Find Contributions (civicrm/contribute/search) you can search for the contributions in question, then select Print or Email Contribution Receipts. The next page is titled Print Contribution Receipts but it has an option to email them anyway.

Webform-CiviCRM integration was designed to be able to sign up multiple members plus collect a contribution. It will save a single contribution record containing a separate line-item for each (2 memberships + a donation = 3 line items). There are some key settings that are required: Contributions (in Webform CiviCRM section): Should be set to your Donation ...

You will need to initiate refund at iATS gateway and then change the contribution status to refunded in CiviCRM. HTH Pradeep

There is extension 'Move Contribution' available for moving contribution from one contact to another. Once you have installed the extension transfer can be done through the contact's contribution tab or through a Find Contributions search result action. HTH Pradeep

The Line Item table is oriented towards the current state of an order's line item. The Financial Item table is oriented towards keeping track of the history of the financial aspects of line items. The Financial Transaction table is the base table for financial transactions created by CiviCRM every time there is any add, update, cancel, refund, pay grant or ...

Our developer found the answer. It was an ACL problem. We fixed this adding a ACL where all roles can edit custom groups of fields.

We've done this sort of thing in our Direct Debit extensions. From memory if there is a recurring record and the membership is set to auto renew then it works fine i.e. renews the membership as needed. If you are a techie you could take a look at the code.

Start with the code for Find Contributions (https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-core/blob/master/CRM/Contribute/Form/SearchContribution.php) and customize it as necessary to get the results you want, eg by hardcoding some values. Next, choose a task similar to what you want to do from the list at https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-core/tree/master/CRM/...

If you create a separate financial type for in-kind donations, you can both track those separately and exclude them from the contribution reports (so as not to confuse things when you try to report on actual monetary gifts). So far none of the clients I have that track their in-kind gifts in this fashion have encountered difficulties with it. Hope this ...

One possibility is when they come out as a guest and pay the fee, you provide them with an automatic discount from the CiviDiscount extension, which is applicable to the full "Member" membership type and is automatically given to folks with a current "Guest" membership. You may need to play with settings to see for sure if it will work in your case. ...

In CRM/Contribute/Form/ContributionBase.php(349) the system is not able to determine the name of your payment processor. Please check: that you at least one payment processors configured that all payment configured processors have a 'name' defined and not empty that at least one of your payment processors is set as 'default' since the chosen payment ...

It sounds like your process of importing memberships via CSV and contributions via CSV works - except that your contributions and memberships aren't linked. If that's correct, I've resolved this when doing migrations as follows: Create a custom field for contributions called "external serial" or similar. Create a custom field for memberships also called "...

Go into CiviCRM admin>Contributions>Find Contributions to find the relevant contribution(s). When the search is complete, on the very right hand side of the Find Contributions screen and in the relevant row, you will see the word "Delete". All you then need to do is click on "delete" and the contribution will be deleted. Alternatively, if you are viewing ...

There are no such reports in CiviCRM that will filter Contribution by Payment Processor. Payment Processor and Payment Method have different meaning. Payment method can be used by N processor. Here are some solutions Going forward have your system to use unique payment method for a payment processor with same name and then you can filter the report using ...

There are 2 ways of recording a pay later contribution Find related contribution, click on more link and then record payment. Or on view contribution page click on 'Record payment link'. Fill in the details and tick 'send receipt' checkbox. Edit the contribution and change the status from pending to completed with 'send receipt' checkbox ticked. Note: #1 ...

I think you can use Smarty to retrieve the payment instrument in your template. You can play with API explorer to return this value - Copy the contents in smarty section and add it to your template. Eg - {crmAPI var='result' entity='Contribution' action='get' id=<contribution_id_variable>} {foreach from=$result.values item=contribution} {$...

For contacts with no gifts ever, use Search Builder. Include contacts where >Contribution > Contribution ID > Is Null. For contacts who didn't give within a specific timeframe, I can only come up with one front-end way. It's kludgy but may get the job done. Create a custom text field for contacts, let's call it "Special Use". Create a group that includes ...

Summary Fields is a very cool extension that can do what you're talking about. Once you set it up, you can search by many aggregate parameters including "total lifetime contributions".

Refunds and partial payments are two different things. Currently for refunds the work-around is to edit the contribution (possibly associated with membership or event ticket purchase) and set amount received to zero (for a full refund). For partial payments, there was a release of back office functionality in 4.5 for events ie staff could enter partial ...

The way it works with paypal standard is that paypal informs civicrm that the payment has been done in the background via IPN (instant payment notification) It means that paypal is sending information to a specific page on civicrm with the proper data (eg this payment has been successful) then your server sends these information back to a specific page on ...

I tried to contact both Veda (NFP) and CompuCorp on this, but no answer yet. However, today I found the Compucorp Git repository, where there is a 4.6 branch for the Gift Aid module, which they seem to have been working on for the last few months. There is a commit from Jun 24 2015 labelled "pre release", so it may be close to release. Yay! https://github....

I gather you are not looking for a development solution (ie. extension, custom template, etc.) since the API/template system is extremely extensible. If that is the case you might consider creating a button or link on the form (if you are slick you might adjust the css or use jquery to place it in the price-set.) that takes the user to a separate ...
