The text that you add to the "Pay Later Instructions' box should show per the following: Instructions added to Confirmation and Thank-you pages, as well as the confirmation email, when the user selects the 'pay later' option (e.g. 'Mail your check to ... within 3 business days.'). You said: what I wrote in the editor doesn't appear on the "...

Similar functionality was added as a part of https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-19263 which should be included in version >= 4.7.12. What it includes - You need to add a Default Invoice Payment Page on CiviContribute Component Settings. Now any pay later contribution created by a user would contain a Pay Now link on User dashboard page /civicrm/...

This is actually easy, but totally hidden... At the very end of the code for your widget, find the last <script> tag, which looks something like this: <script type="text/javascript" src="𝙐𝙍𝙇"></script> where 𝙐𝙍𝙇 is a very long URL. Modify this URL by adding &includePending=1 to the end. Paste your modified widget code over the ...

Looks like there's a problem with your theme. I am not seeing the total amount show when you select a sponsorship level. The images for the credit cards and Empowered by CiviCRM are also missing.

Go to Administer / Systems Settings / Resource URL's Change CiviCRM Resource URL from using URL variable to absolute path, i.e. replace [civicrm.root] with the specific path for the site. ** This is a specific issue to Joomla sites only.

Ann - the symptoms you describe here all point to an issue with JavaScript not being loaded properly. General recipe for trouble shooting this is to check your Browser's console for Error messages: in Firefox - you could do this by installing Firebug plug-in on Chrome you can launch the Developer Tools. Here's an excellent write-up on troubleshooting ...

It depends highly on the membership amount you display on the contribution page. If the amount is 0, there is no pending state needed and contribution directly gets set to Completed. So, I think you should check the Minimum Fee set for the membership type you've selected on this page.

Not sure I understand the question 100%, but Civi can be configured with ACH payment processing (e.g. using iATS: http://home.iatspayments.com/) - this will allow for users to register themselves online and will link the event payment with the participant record. For cash payments, you can use "Pending (Pay Later)" either from the front end (by enabling this ...

I'm relatively new to CiviCRM and realize this is an old thread, but I just got the same error on Wordpress 4.7.4 and CiviCRM 4.7.15. I was trying to record a update a membership based on a cash payment. Screen shot below shows the error received. I unchecked "Update Payment Status" and was able to save and continue. I had to add a new contribution for this ...

This is a configurable option in the event settings. Go to Events menu » Manage Events, click Configure menu » Online Registration next to the event in question, and put a "0" in the "Pending participant expiration (hours)" box to disable this. See screenshot:

On a day-to-day basis, you can save yourself a few clicks by using Contributions > Find Contributions. Also, instead of Editing the contribution and updating the status, you would be better off using "Record Payment" by clicking on the black arrow to the left of the contribution amount: On a similar note, when you have multiple contributions to update, ...

The answer to this question is provided in the response to "Pay Later Online?"

I believe you are you using Stripe payment processor extension as one of the payment gateway. There is a known issue reported by a user facing similar problem and have been issues for other users also. As mentioned in info.xml Stripe extension supports till 5.0 and might have not tested fully for 5.3. The only solution I would give is to upgrade stripe if ...

The payment page has the following URL : .../civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=12&ccid=251 (where id is the Contribution-Page-Id and ccid is the Contribution-id) (you must force the id). Being given the contact-id and the contribution-page-id, you can deliver this URL via a small php program (eg : before_url_pay.php?c=[current-user:civicrm-...

This is probably included in a later upgrade that I haven't done yet, but I had to add the following to /sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/widget.php to get this @sean-colsen's answer to work: $includePending = isset( $_GET['includePending'] ) ? true : false; $data = CRM_Contribute_BAO_Widget::getContributionPageData($cpageId, $widgetId, $includePending);

Since "Pay Now" is not the default for CiviCRM I would check to see if Word Replacements has been used to rewrite this. Admin > Customise > Word Replacements ie ../civicrm/admin/options/wordreplacements?reset=1 If it is not that, then use your browser Inspect option to figure if you have a customised template

Welcome to civicrm stackexhange! Your first step is to try replicate this on - http://dmaster.demo.civicrm.org Configure things just like you have in your own civicrm. And if you find you get the same error then amend your question with details/screenshots so that we can reproduce next.

Looks like there is a history of issues with pay later an pay pal express - there is a ticket on JIRA that sounds like it might be related to what you are reporting can be seen here: https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-18118 Hope this helps, Tamar

I'm not going to say Joomla is a second rate citizen, but it is by far, the least used cms of the three big ones, by people that use CiviCRM. It is the only one I use on a regular basis, so don't get me wrong, I'm not talking it down. I think the answer though is basically going to come down to if you what the demo site updated, you are going to need to ask ...

Check out what you can achieve by using the Batch Update by Profile process. Create a Profile that has the Fee Amount field for Participants. Go to Find Participants. Search for those that attended your event. Under Actions click on Batch Update by Profile. You should then be able to enter the required amount for the top row, and use the 'photocopy' icon ...

Thanks for the additional info. If I understand correctly, you essentially want to provide those who pay via bank draft a reference number such that when you are informed of the receipt of a payment by your bank, you can do a find on the number and pull up the pending pay later contribution more easily than you would just by relying on a name - if that's the ...

There is a fix (work around). It is only needed for users on Joomla. And that is the java fix- Go to System Settings / Resource URLS. Change the path for CiviCRM Resource URL to be /administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/

Ann, Forgive me if the question seems obvious but this sounds like what I had initially reported as a bug on JIRA in https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-17214 but it turned out to be a slight change in behavior between versions. Hope this helps!
