Where are translations for drop-downs?

That drop-down is pulling options from the activity_contacts option group. So it sounds like your option group is in Swedish and doesn't have English labels available.

If you need CiviCRM to translate the string then you should use {ts}String to display{/ts}. In your case i believe the string should not translate so do not use {ts} tag.
