We end up building a lot of Views - and would love to be able to improve EditableViews so that it works more like a spreadsheet which will require ensuring that Labels rather than Values are displayed

Use the 'Note' type of custom field to get a text area

There is a "slickgrid" integration module developed by Eileen, which allows spreadsheet-like data entry for CiviCRM: https://github.com/eileenmcnaughton/nz.co.fuzion.slickgrid

With a lot of organizations I've worked with, the folks who want spreadsheets are often less comfortable with computers - but are often quite comfortable with a phone or even an iPad. It feels counterintuitive to me to get "real" work done on a tablet - but for many folks, this is a killer feature. In many situations, CiviCRM can help make a lot of field ...

I don't think such setting exists, although, you can set the timeout for the Dashboard cache navigating to Administer - System settings - Misc and set the the Dashboard cache timeout to the value desired in minutes, setting it to 1 minute for example it will refresh the Dashboard data every minute. I guess the other option would be to create an extension ...

As I didn't hear from anyone, I figured I'd just write the extension. Artful Robot's AutoGroup Extension is here for your delight and delectation. From the README: This extension allows you to choose a set of groups which will be added to new contacts if the logged in contact is also in that group. e.g. If Staff member Wilma is in the group 'Region: ...

You can use the Stripe element events to trigger something - see https://stripe.com/docs/js/element/events We do that in the Stripe extension here: https://lab.civicrm.org/extensions/stripe/-/blob/master/js/civicrm_stripe.js#L281 There are some useful CiviCRM/Stripe extension events which help with frontend integrations and we are open to adding more: ...

The print report link on manage case might satisfy the need to see a comprehensive list in a view. It's not editable though.

Unfortunately, there is no setting for this. You would indeed need to create an extension that pre-fills the field in teh way you need it. If you have not done so yet, you may have a look at the CiviCRM Developer Guide and/or get in contact with other developers: https://chat.civicrm.org/civicrm/channels/dev-newcomers

I'm afraid the answer is "no you can't configure that to allow HTML tags". If you need lots of Help text put most of that into the 'Body' on the Event Info and/or Event Register and/or Contribution pages - keeping the help text nice and short.

On Drupal -> go to Hello [user] in the Toolbar -> then hit view contact Record (or view Contact Dashboard):

Up until now the answer has been no. However this improvement is now available with the PR from this JIRA issue.

Is your validation/invalidation a user role in Drupal? In that case you can use the Drupal rules module to trigger a role change that checks for 'unvalidated user' when the 'member' role is added, and removes it if found (or the other way around depending on which way your validation works). If your validation triggers on anything that rules can be ...

I know this is like two years later but I just went through a really similar problem and there's no answer here yet... First off Coleman posts a good answer here for lots of situations: Can I update/requery a custom field that got changed via another field on the same page? I couldn't get this to work with certain ajax-y elements like the "disable" button ...

In short - yes, this is supported in CiviCRM! Filtering by currency and/or country is doable on the three reports I checked, including the most commonly used contribution reports (Contribution Summary, Contribution Detail). Here's a screenshot of the filters for a report: Filtering by currency and/or country is also possible from search (these two ...

You should be able to use one of the demo sites eg http://d46.demo.civicrm.org/ to test out some of these things. Eg at http://d46.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contribute/search?reset=1 you can see that Currency is one of the filterable options, and I fully expect that you could set up Report for each of them with the currency pre-filtered.
