Anonymous user permissions column missing
I may have found the answer here. I created an anonymous_user role as described, and the column appears in the permissions page now. I am testing to see if the errors go away.
Edit: it does work. BTW ...

It looks like you are taking the contact hash directly from the database and sticking it in the URL yourself. That won't work (and for security reasons you don't want to expose the contact hash ...

How to allow anon user that enters existing contact email into webform to add infomation to that matching contact
Yes use the checksum - to avoid overwriting if people may forward it, you can put eg two buttons on your mailer
1/ update your details Peter
2/ add your details if you are not Peter

You could use Drupal webform_civicrm module which gives you fine grained control on who can access the forms.

At the bottom of the profile settings page, there's a collapsed advanced section. There you can limit it to a group.
Only top scored, non community-wiki answers of a minimum length are eligible
